Celebrating in Style – Circumnavigators Club in Wales First Year
Our first year in Wales had been a tremendous year and we celebrated it in style with great guests with a passion for travel and adventure.
Presentations ranged from University scholarships to Child Survival Projects, from climbing 7 mountains and reaching the 3 geographical poles, to avoiding poisonous snakes and amazonian blue belly frogs, from packs of wild wolves and wrestling wild boars.
Our speakers Rosie Swale Pope and her 101 challenges, Tracey Pinder from the 737 Challenge, Marie Curie Cancer Care Nurse Janet Suart and Circumnavigator Charline Evans enthralled the audience with tales, films and photographs of their adventures and challenges that they have recently undertaken.
Former Wales and barbarian flanker Richard Parks and 2 times Olympic gold medallist rower Steve Williams have successfully reached the Geographic North Pole
